Team India started their Asia Cup 2025 campaign with a big win over the United Arab Emirates (UAE) at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Wednesday, September 10.

Batting first, UAE had a very poor innings and were bowled out for just 57 runs in 13.1 overs. Kuldeep Yadav was the star, taking 4 wickets for 7 runs in 2.1 overs. Shivam Dube also bowled well, taking 3 wickets for 4 runs in 2 overs. Jasprit Bumrah, Axar Patel, and Varun Chakaravarthy took one wicket each. Hardik Pandya bowled one over without taking a wicket.

India chased the target easily and won by nine wickets in just 4.3 overs, starting their title defence strongly. Their next match will be against Pakistan on Sunday, September 14, in Dubai. Ahead of that game, we look at the T20I stats of Hardik Pandya and Shivam Dube after 36 matches each.
