After making his T20I debut in 2017, Washington Sundar managed to play only 54 matches. His last T20I encounter with Team India was in January this year against England at Rajkot. It was not a memorable affair for the all-rounder; he remained wicket-less in the game and was able to score only 6 runs. Meanwhile, his all-over T20I stats cannot be considered spectacular. The best T20I bowling figures of his career came during a match against Zimbabwe in 2024, when he took 3 wickets, conceding only 15 runs. Against Bangladesh and Afghanistan too, Sundar has 3-wicket figures. 50 was his highest individual score for India in the format of the game, which he scored against New Zealand at Ranchi on January 27, 2023.
