1. June 29: India vs South Africa (2024 T20 World Cup Final)

After Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli announced their retirement from T20I cricket, the Indian squad welcomed new players, including Suryakumar Yadav, as their new captain. As expected, they have put a full stop to any worries about the team's ability to succeed without the two legends to rest. Sanju Samson scored a century, and skipper Suryakumar Yadav contributed a half-century as India set their best T20 total of 297 against Bangladesh in Hyderabad.

They eventually held Bangladesh to 164 runs, clinching the match by 133 runs—India's third-largest margin of victory in T20I history, demonstrating that they are still as fearsome a team in the future as they were in the past. This was also the format's third-highest-hitting innings total. Sanju Samson was named Player of the Match after scoring a century. 

3. June 27: India vs England (2024 T20 World Cup Semi-Final)

India faced England in the second semi-final of the event. The memories of the 2022 T20 WC semi-final loss were still fresh in the thoughts of Indian cricket supporters as they prepared to face off again in the same circumstance and battlefield. Rohit Sharma's knock against England in the 2024 T20 World Cup semi-finals at Providence Stadium stands up as one of the tournament's best performances. Sharma scored 57 runs off 39 balls in a high-pressure, must-win situation.

His combination with Suryakumar Yadav was critical in putting up the score of 171/7 on a tricky and slow track to bat on. Furthermore, Axar Patel chose to deal with matters with the ball, recording a 3/23 bowling figure, by scalping pivotal the wickets of the crucial English batters like Jos Buttler, Jonny Bairstow, and Moeen Ali. Also, he was hailed as the Player of the Match.
