1. January 3-4: India vs South Africa (2nd Test, Freedom Trophy 2023-24)

This clash between the sport's powerhouses deserves to seal the first spot on the list. With the Indian side being the visitors to the daunting conditions of South Africa, it was evident that it would be an uphill task to scalp create a winning impact in the two-match test series. Though they had a forgettable loss in the first test match, losing by an innings and 32 runs, the away side was up for redemption.

On January 4th, India beat South Africa by seven wickets to register a win in the 2nd Test at the Newlands Stadium, Cape Town. The win would be highly accredited to the pacers who adapted to the hostile conditions and scalped some crucial wickets, thanks to Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj. In this match, Siraj scalped his career-best figures with the red ball of 6/15.

2. February 2-5: India vs England (2nd Test, Anthony de Mello Trophy 2023-24)

The primary reason for having this match on the given list is mainly because it indicated that the Indian cricket team's prodigious arsenal would cement the team's future prospects. India won the toss and opted to bat first on the Visakhapatnam tracks, where they gave a stable start. Yashasvi Jaiswal was the face of it by striking his first-ever double-century by making 209 runs off 290 balls, leading the team to 396 in the first innings.

After England's first innings, India had 143 runs plus a deficit, whereas Shubman Gill proceeded to their second innings. He made a commendable 104 runs off 147 balls, leading to England facing a target of 399. Thanks to Jasprit Bumrah's and Ravichandran Ashwin's bowling display, the team won convincingly by 106 runs, further sealing the series 4-1. 

3. November 22-25: India vs Australia (1st Test, Border-Gavaskar Trophy, 2024-25)

The first clash from the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy would be one of this year's best test matches and one of those red-ball clashes that will be remembered for ages. Rohit Sharma didn't lead the Test due to family commitments, and the side was led by their reliable pacer, Jasprit Bumrah. While it appears that Australia will once again defeat India in Perth after dismissing them for 150 in the first innings, things just started to unfold.

India had other intentions, as they stormed back as hard as they could and bowled out Australia for 104 before scoring 487 in the second innings, setting Australia a massive 534-run goal to chase. The host squad ultimately disintegrated and were all out for 238 runs, giving India a 295-run victory and enhancing their win streak on the prominent Perth. Jaiswal's first-innings 161 runs off 297 runs was the match's USP. And it was the man, the myth, the legend, Jasprit Bumarh, did it all and made it possible.
