Black day for Indian Test cricket. South Africa defeated India by 408 runs—the biggest Test match defeat for Team India by runs in the history of Test cricket. After the India vs South Africa 2nd Test match (IND vs SA 2nd Test), fans at the Barsapara Stadium absolutely went crazy when they saw head coach Gautam Gambhir on the field.

But the piled-up emotions burst out in real life in Guwahati, after the match, where India lost by 408 runs. Fans are continuously demanding Gambhir's resignation from the head coach role. Will he resign after the shameful result? He had to face the question during the match after the press conference.

"It is for the BCCI to decide. I have said this before as well: Indian cricket is important; I am not important. I am the same guy who got results in England and won the Champions Trophy and the Asia Cup. This is a team that is learning. The blame lies with everyone and starts with me. We need to play better. From 95/1 to 122/7 is not acceptable. You don't blame any individual or any particular shot," Gautam Gambhir reacted when a journalist asked him about his future with Team India. 

In the Guwahati Test, the Men in Blue were outclassed by South Africa in every department, whether it was bowling, fielding, or batting. On the last day of the match, as well as the 2-match Test series, India only needed to protect their remaining 8 wickets to drag the match for a draw. But they bowled out for only 140 runs and allowed Temba Bavuma's South Africa to completely overhaul the Test series.
