After much anticipation about the schedule for 17th edition of the Asia Cup 2025 has been officially announced, sparking excitement among cricket fans across the continent. While India was initially set to host the marquee event, political tensions in the region have resulted in the tournament being relocated to neutral venues in the UAE—primarily in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. However, India continues to hold the official hosting rights for this prestigious competition.

The Asia Cup 2025 will be played in the T20 format from September 9 to September 28. Sri Lanka has been placed in Group B alongside Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and Hong Kong.
