Australia Women and India Women will meet in the third and final T20I on Saturday, February 21, at the Adelaide Oval. With the series tied 1-1, this match will decide the winner.

India started the series well with a victory in the first T20I at Sydney. In a rain-affected game, their bowlers did a strong job by restricting Australia to 133 runs. Arundhati Reddy and Renuka Singh were impressive with the ball. During the shortened chase, India got off to a quick start before rain stopped play, giving them a DLS win and a 1-0 lead in the series.

Australia responded strongly in the second match at Canberra. Georgia Voll played a brilliant knock of 88 runs to help the hosts post 163. Ashleigh Gardner then picked up three wickets to stop India’s chase. Australia won by 19 runs and levelled the series. Both teams will now look to give their best in this decider.

The pitch at Adelaide Oval is well balanced for both batters and bowlers. It gives good bounce and carry, which helps fast bowlers during the whole match. At the same time, the ball comes nicely onto the bat, making it easier to play shots. The quick outfield also helps batters score more runs if they find the gaps.
