CSK Plans to Trade Ashwin and Dubey

Kolkata Knight Riders also wanted Sanju, as they need a wicketkeeper, a top-order batsman, and a new captain. Sanju can do all three jobs well. But now, KKR has backed out, which has made things easier for CSK.

As per reports, CSK and Rajasthan Royals have reached a deal. Chennai may give Ravichandran Ashwin and Shivam Dubey in return. Royals also asked for Ravindra Jadeja, but CSK refused. Jadeja is an all-rounder, and CSK wants to keep him.

Sanju’s current salary is Rs 18 crore. Ashwin earns Rs 9.75 crore, and Dubey earns Rs 12 crore. CSK is ready to trade both to match Sanju’s value.
