He has previously worked as the Bowling Coach for South Africa and the Fielding Coach for Sri Lanka. Gnaneswara Rao is already part of the Delhi Capitals family, having played for India Capitals in the Legends League and <span data-mark-id="1000470_58|hu%0" data-order="20">served</span> as the Fielding Coach for Dubai Capitals in the ILT20, where they won the title.</p><p> During his playing career, he featured in 23 T20 matches, scoring 429 runs at a strike rate of 123.98. He was also part of the IPL 2011 team, Kochi Tuskers Kerala. Delhi Capitals are happy to welcome them on board for the upcoming season.
