In the final match, India did not give New Zealand any chance and registered a one-sided victory by 96 runs. After losing the toss, India batted first and batters performed brilliantly and the team scored 255/5 in 20 overs, in response to which New Zealand lost all their wickets in 19 overs and scored 159 runs.

The biggest reason behind Team India's win in the final was the dominant performance of the batting unit. The top order set the tone early, putting New Zealand under immense pressure after the first innings. Sanju Samson led the charge with a solid 89 off 46 balls, while Ishan Kishan played a quickfire knock of 54 runs from just 25 deliveries. Meanwhile, Abhishek Sharma bounced back to form in the title clash, smashing 52 runs off 21 balls. Towards the end, Shivam Dube added the finishing touches with an unbeaten 26 off just eight balls, helping the side post a massive total beyond 250.

The bowlers then ensured the strong total was defended comfortably. Jasprit Bumrah delivered a match-winning spell, claiming four wickets and earning the Player of the Match award.
