Hardik Pandya has smashed two half-centuries in the tournament so far, including the 23-ball fifty against Zimbabwe in the previous clash at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, besides picking crucial wickets at different junctures of the game.

India, which still hasn’t qualified for the semifinal of the event, will face West Indies in the virtual quarterfinal at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. The winner will face England in the first semifinal of the event at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

“The crowd is here to get entertained by the Indian Team, not by individuals. By the Indian Team. Remember that. Back each other, be together, no matter what happens. Head high, and we will get this. Believe in yourself. Believe in each other, and believe in your skills.” Pandya addressed.

“If we can continue with the same approach as a group, what we have done, we will come with flying colors. Love this sport. Love this energy.
