Former England football team head coach Gareth Southgate was seen enjoying the IPL 2025 game between Rajasthan Royals and Mumbai Indians on Thursday at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.

The 54-year-old, who led England to back-to-back Euro finals, was spotted in the stands wearing a Rajasthan Royals pink jersey, along with his family members around him as well. In his career, he played football as a midfielder and defender before becoming the manager of the England national men's football team from 2016 to 2024.

After taking charge, Southgate helped the Englishmen to a semifinal finish at the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar. He stepped down as the England football team manager after the Euro 2024 final loss against Spain. "After 102 games and almost eight years in charge, Gareth Southgate has announced he is to leave his role as manager of England," the England football team had said via Twitter on July 16, 2024. After resigning from the manager role, Southgate joined UEFA as a technical advisor, where he analyses games from a coaching standpoint and creates reports using statistical and video analysis.

The entire Rajasthan Royals (RR) team is spotted wearing the special pink jersey in the IPL 2025 match against the Mumbai Indians in Jaipur to support and promote women's initiatives. Following this, the Rajasthan Royals Foundation has also launched a film named 'Aurat Hai Toh Bharat Hai' on International Women's Day for their campaign. For this match, the RR team management contributed Rs 100 to women-led rural transformation in Rajasthan for every ticket purchase. For every six hit during the match by either team, RRF will provide electricity to six homes in the Sambhar region with solar power.
