Rohit Sharma took retirement from T20I and Test cricket, and for now, he's only available for One Day International matches. India is in England for the 5-match Test series, and Rohit now enjoys his free time with family after the conclusion of IPL 2025.

In a recent fun conversation with Harbhajan Singh and Geeta Basra on the YouTube show “Who’s The Boss?” During this conversation, Rohit revealed some facts about his personal life that, so far, were not in the public domain.

The captain of Team India's ODI format revealed how his wife, Ritika Sajdeh, always tries to stand by his side and support him during the matches. Whenever the right-handed batter was on the ground for Team India or Mumbai Indians, the camera caught Ritika on the stand. During the conversation with the Singh couple, Rohit couldn't hold back his amusement at how Ritika managed to sit in one place throughout the match. The 38-year-old opener said,

She's my lucky charm: Rohit Sharma 

"I asked Ritika so many times, how do you manage this because it's incredibly tough to sit like that through the entire match with that finger?. She's deeply involved in my game, she wants me to do well, she's my lucky charm, and she's my biggest supporter." 

In the same episode, Sharma revealed how he proposed to Ritika Sajdeh. According to Rohit, his way to propose to her was pretty romantic. He took Ritika to the ground where he used to play cricket in his childhood days. After finishing the food Ritika brought from her home, Rohit told her that they now have some ice cream. It was the masterstroke from Sharma. They took the car and drove a long way. By the time it was dark. And Ritika was clueless. She even asked Rohit about the ice cream. The plan was already set. Rohit parked the car in the middle of the ground and then proposed to his lady love. Sharma's friends were there to capture the once-in-a-lifetime moment.
