It is time for the Sri Lanka vs New Zealand (SL vs NZ) in Group 2 of the Super Eights in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026, as R.Premadasa Stadium in Colombo is hosting the match on Wednesday night (February 25). It is almost a must-win game for both teams.

Group B runners-up Sri Lanka started the Super Eights with a shocking defeat against England. Despite restricting England to 146 runs, Sri Lanka were bundled out for only 95 runs, as the hosts lost that match by 51 runs.

Meanwhile, Group D runners-up New Zealand had a no result in their first Super Eights fixture against Pakistan, as rain washed out that game.
