ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026, Group A - IND vs NAM: Toss Update, Playing XI

Hosts and defending champions India are ready to face Namibia in their second match of Group A in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Thursday night (February 12).

India started the tournament with a fighting 29-run win against the United States of America. Meanwhile, Namibia began the tournament with a seven-wicket defeat (with 12 balls remaining) against the Netherlands. So, the India vs Namibia fixture is a must-win game for both teams.

It is going to be the second T20I meeting between India and Namibia. Previously, they met during the Super 12 group stage of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2021, where India won by nine wickets after successfully chasing the 133-run target in 15.2 overs while losing only one wicket.

India made two changes in the playing XI. The opener Abhishek Sharma is unavailable for the match, while Sanju Samson has replaced him. Meanwhile, the right-arm fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has returned to the playing XI, as Mohammed Siraj has been left out of the playing XI.
