ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026: Official song released

It is "Feel the Thrill" as the official song of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026. Anirudh Ravichander is the composer, arranger, producer, and vocalist. In the meantime, the English lyricist is Heisenberg, while Raqueeb Alam is the Hindi lyricist.

ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026: 20 teams are ready

India and Sri Lanka are ready to jointly host the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 from February 7 to March 8, 2026. A total of 20 teams will participate in the tournament, while Scotland have replaced Bangladesh in the last minute after the Asian side decided not to travel to India, citing players' security issues.

It is the second-time when India and Sri Lanka are hosting the T20 World Cup, but the first time as co-hosts. Sri Lanka hosted it first time in 2012, and India hosted it previously in 2016.

In the upcoming 2026 edition, India will defend the title, as they won the tournament last time in 2024, which the West Indies and the United States hosted. It was the second T20 World Cup trophy success for the Men in Blues after lifting it in the inaugural edition in 2007.

In the 2026 edition, India can create three histories by becoming the first team to defend the title, along with the first hosts to win the title, and the first team to win it three times. On the other hand, the other hosts Sri Lanka have won the trophy once in the 2014 edition, while they also finished as runners-up twice.
