India dominated England on the first day of the first Test but also gave them a chance to come back on the second day. In this match being played at Headingley, India scored 471 runs in their first innings. In reply, England scored 209 runs for 3 wickets. Jasprit Bumrah took all three wickets for India.

If the fielders had not dropped catches or if Bumrah had received support from the other bowlers, England might have lost more wickets. Another user posted, “There is so much dependence on Bumrah that they will break his back.” Cricket fans know that Bumrah has faced many injuries. He got injured during the last Test on the Australia tour. After that, he had to stay out of the game for at least 4 months.
