Champions Trophy 2025 which is going to be held in Pakistan and Dubai, after BCCI disagreement about travel to Pakistan, PCB chose a neutral place which is Dubai.

India will travel to Dubai for their upcoming group-stage matches in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, where they will face Bangladesh, Pakistan, and New Zealand on 20 February, 23 February, and 2 March respectively.  

All the matches will be played in Dubai International Cricket Stadium and India will also play their practice match on the same spot. 

As per reports in Sports Tak, India will play at least one practice match before the Champions Trophy but the date and time have not been announced yet and will be announced soon.

India had played only one practice match before the 2024 T20 World Cup and will now play the same practice match here in Dubai. India is familiar with the pitch of Dubai International Cricket Stadium because they have played the Asia Cup here, nonetheless, a practice match is necessary to understand the new pitch conditions.

The practice session will provide the Indian team an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the pitch conditions and climate of Dubai, thereby ensuring optimal performance during the tournament.
