Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will play against Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the fifty-fourth match of IPL 2025 at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala. Both failed to qualify for playoffs in the IPL 2024.

In IPL 2025, Match no 13, Punjab Kings won against Lucknow Super Giants. LSG scored 171/7, with Pooran scoring 44 and Badoni scoring 41 runs. Punjab Kings easily chased down the target, reaching 177/2 in just 16.2 overs. Prabhsimran Singh scored with a quick 69 runs in 34 balls. Shreyas Iyer also played a good knock, finishing with a beaten 52 runs in that match.

PBKS: Impact Players

Harpreet Brar: It was a bit surprising that Harpreet didn’t get a chance in the first half of the season. But he’s finally back in the team and can make a big difference with his all-round skills. He played as the Impact Player in PBKS’ last match.

Musheer Khan: Musheer, the younger brother of Sarfaraz Khan, is still waiting for his IPL debut. With the match at Chepauk, where spinners usually do well, Punjab might think about giving him a chance because he plays spin bowling really well.

Vijaykumar Vyshak: The fast bowler from Karnataka has only played one game this season, which was the opener against Gujarat Titans. He’s known for his clever slower balls and could be really useful in the final overs to stop runs.

Suryansh Shedge: The 22-year-old all-rounder has played four games but hasn’t had much of an impact yet. Even though he’s called an all-rounder, Punjab hasn’t used him with the ball so far.

LSG: Impact Players

Matthew Breetzke: A powerful top-order batter, Breetzke has been in good form in white-ball cricket. He could play a key role if LSG lose early wickets, especially while chasing.

Shahbaz Ahmed: Shahbaz has played only one match this season. He can be useful in the lower middle order during the first innings and also bowl a few overs in the second.

Mayank Yadav: The fast bowler was listed as a substitute in LSG’s last game, which shows he’s getting back to full fitness. He might be used in the second innings to bring in some extra pace.

Himmat Singh: A strong middle-order batter, Himmat was also on the substitute list last game. He could be sent in during the final overs to hit some big shots if LSG are batting first.
