31% of votes within 100 percent went for 'the batting,' 2% each for 'the fielding' and 'the bowling,' and the rest of the 65% voted for 'everything.' CSK entered MA Chidambaram Stadium after playing 9 matches, searching for their third win of the season.

Like critics, cricket-loving fans also have tried to find the exact reason for which CSK failed to justify their legacy for the season. The former champion failed to perform as a unit.
