A video of a woman slapping a cop at the Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad has gone viral on social media. The occurrence allegedly occurred on Sunday when fans assembled to watch the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 final match between Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans. However, the game was postponed until Monday due to the persistent rain.

In the interim, the clip of the episode showed a lady, wearing a pink top, pushing and slapping a cop more than once. The explanation for the woman’’s activity was not known.

The incident was referred to as “shameful” by some social media users

Just before the toss on Sunday, it started to rain around 6.30 p.m. The downpour halted around 9 pm, giving a hint of something better over the horizon. However, just as the players began to warm up, it started to rain heavily once more, forcing the match to be moved to Monday. 

On Monday, some parts of Gujarat are expected to get wet, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

Gujarat Titans, who finished higher on the points table at the conclusion of the league phase, will be declared the winner if Monday’s match is washed out by rain.
