Top Four Teams and Their Strengths

Former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan has predicted the top four teams for the IPL 2025 playoffs, analyzing their strengths and key players.

He expects Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to perform well, with Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, and Noor Ahmad forming a strong spin attack. However, he raised concerns about MS Dhoni’s batting role and Devon Conway’s form.

Mumbai Indians (MI) also made his list, with Hardik Pandya’s leadership and key players like Allah Ghazanfar and Mitchell Santner. However, Pathan noted MI’s tendency to start slow could be a challenge.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) were another pick, with experienced bowlers Josh Hazlewood and Bhuvneshwar Kumar, and Liam Livingstone and Tim David adding strength to the middle order.

Lastly, Delhi Capitals (DC) stood out with a powerful top order featuring Jake Fraser-McGurk, Faf du Plessis, and KL Rahul, supported by a strong spin attack.
