Ishan Kishan is all set to make a much-awaited comeback for Team India. He is named in the T20I squad for the New Zealand series. India and New Zealand (IND vs NZ) will play a 5-match T20I series after the conclusion of the ongoing ODI contest. Ahead of the first T20I, Ishan Kishan was spotted in nets, polishing his batting skills at the BCCI Centre of Excellence (CoE). 

A short video on the social media platform 'X' shows a moment of Kishan' batting practice. The video captures the moment when the southpaw smashed the net bowler for a big hit, using raw strength and quick hands. Ishan used his muscle power more than foot movements to make the smash possible.

Ahead of the 5-match bilateral T20I series, which is scheduled to start on January 21, Team India faced multiple setbacks due to which they had to restructure the team. Tilak Varma was ruled out of the series after a surgery. Washington Sundar is uncertain for the series as well. As replacements, BCCI selectors included Shreyas Iyer and Ravi Bishnoi in the T20I squad.
