Team India are now preparing for their next assignment at the Lord's cricket ground to take on England in the third of the ongoing 5-match series. After two matches, the series currently leveled at 1-1, each team got one victory— England won the first Test in Leeds, and India's victory in the second Test at Edgbaston.

The third encounter will take place at the home of cricket from July 10. Before the important match, stories related to India and Lord's are circulating around the social media platforms. The discussion about Lord's and Team India will remain incomplete without Mahendra Singh Dhoni. The former India skipper made a huge announcement after a glorious win over England at Lord's in 2014. MS Dhoni, the then captain of India, said that it would be his final Test match at the venue.

"Don't know how exactly it feels. It will be my last Test at Lord's. Don't see myself coming back here in I don't know how many years. Definitely a memorable Test match. Have had close Tests here. Still remember 2007 series where we drew the match because of bad light, and me and Sreesanth were batting at that time", Dhoni said after the match. True to his words, 'captain cool' never played in Lord's after the announcement.

England vs India Test at the Lord's, July, 2014: 

The match witnessed a neck to neck fight between these two teams. With some individual brilliances from both ends, the game maintained a balanced position throughout the days. Ajinkya Rahane's one of the finest centuries and 7-wicket figure from Ishan Sharma helped the brigade in Blue to became victorious. Sharma won the man of the match award for his second innings' 7/74 spell. And Rahane bagged 103 off 154 came in the first innings of the encounter.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar also proved effective with his swing bowling, claimed 6 scalps in the first innings to overshadowed a ton from Gary Ballance. Though Dhoni, apart from his captaincy role, didn't do enough with his batting duties (1 & 19).
