Manchester Originals Women won a easy game after beating Welsh Fire Women by 7 wickets in Match 12 of The Hundred Women’s 2025. The Manchester Originals won the toss and chose to bowl first. Their bowlers bowled well from the start, not letting Welsh Fire settle.

The batting side kept losing wickets and ended with only 74 runs in 100 balls. Hayley Matthews scored 22 off 33 balls, but no one else stayed long. Mahika Gaur (2/14), Sophie Ecclestone (2/13), Lauren Filer (2/14), and Kathryn Bryce (2/7) all bowled well to keep the score low.

Chasing 75, Manchester Originals lost Beth Mooney and Amelia Kerr early, but Kathryn Bryce kept things calm with a fine 45 off 41 balls. Seren Smale added an unbeaten 20 off 27 balls to take the team home in just 81 balls, with 19 left. It was a solid all-round show from the Originals, giving Welsh Fire no chance.
