There is a different tension ahead of the Super 4 clash between India and Pakistan at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in the ongoing 2025 season of the Asia Cup. It was altogether a different situation from last week when the Suryakumar Yadav-led side crushed their opponents quite easily during their low run chase in the second innings of the same game.

Pakistan didn’t attend the pre-match press conference ahead of the India game before going through their practice session at the ICC Academy. The PCB chairman and the interior minister of the country, Mohsin Naqvi, attended the practice session to motivate the players ahead of an intense clash.

During the practice, the Pakistani players were shouting 6-0 in Dubai. The chant is believed to be a reference to the Air Force's claim that they shot down six Indian fighter jets during the recent conflict after the Operation Sindhoor. The Indian Air Force has also made similar claims that they shot down at least five fighter jets and one large aircraft in May.

India’s T20 captain, Suryakumar Yadav, however, doesn’t have time to keep an eye on these areas. He reckoned that he switched his phone off after the end of the clash against Pakistan. He also revealed that they would try to keep the plan simple.
