In Match 28 of the 2025 Major League Cricket (MLC) season, the Texas Super Kings took on the Seattle Orcas at Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground, Lauderhill. The Orcas won the toss and elected to bowl first, hoping to chase under lights. However, Texas’ top-order firepower and a bowling masterclass, particularly from Adam Milne, turned the contest into a dominant 51-run victory for the Super Kings.

Batting first, the Texas Super Kings posted an imposing total of 188/4 in their 20 overs. Faf du Plessis led the way with a brilliant 91 off 52 balls, leading his team with boundaries and smart strike rotations, he supported by Shubham Ranjane, who smashed 65 off just 41 balls, continuing his hot streak in the tournament. Wicketkeeper Smit Patel chipped in with a useful 18 from 20 balls. Akeal Hosein (2/24 in 4) and Noor Ahmad (2/26 in 4) also helped by maintaining pressure and taking important wickets at regular intervals, ensuring a comfortable win.
