Los Angeles Knight Riders vs Texas Super Kings (LAS vs TEX) has been scheduled for the fifth match of the MLC 2025. Oakland Coliseum (Oakland) will host this game on Sunday afternoon, June 15 (starting time at 02:30 IST on June 16). Both teams will play their second match of the season, while it will be their first meeting of the tournament. 

In the second game of the tournament, Texas Super Kings faced MI New York. After Super Kings scored 185/6, they restricted their opponents to 182/8 and secured a three-run win. Devon Conway (65), Calvin Savage (53*), and Adam Milne (3/22) were the heroes for Super Kings in that match. 

Later, in the third game of the season, Los Angeles Knight Riders suffered a 32-run defeat against San Francisco Unicorns. After Unicorns scored 219/8, thanks to Jake Fraser-McGurk (88) and Finn Allen’s (52), Knight Riders only managed to score 187 runs, despite the fight of Unmukt Chand (53) and Matthew Tromp (41).

It will be their third meeting in the MLC's history. In the 2023 edition, they met in the first game of the tournament's history, and Super Kings won by 69 runs after scoring 181/6. In their 2024 meeting, Knight Riders won by 12 runs after scoring 162/7 in 20 overs.
