The former Indian captain and the wicket-keeper batter, MS Dhoni, along with his wife, Sakshi, has arrived in Mumbai to attend the wedding ceremony of Arun Tendulkar, who is the only son of the former Indian batter, Sachin Tendulkar, as the video of the moment goes viral on social media platforms.

Both MS Dhoni and Sakshi took a few pictures at the gate before entering the room. The former was in Chennai a few days ago as he has started his preparation in the camp of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) ahead of the 2026 season of the Indian Premier League (IPL), along with captain Ruturaj Gaikwad, Sarfaraz Khan, Ayush Mhatre, Prashant Veer, and other members of the franchise.

Dhoni didn’t have a great season in 2025 with the bat and the leadership skills, as the Ranchi-born ended up with only 196 runs in 13 innings at an average of 24.50 and a strike rate of 135.17, thanks to the best score of unbeaten 30 runs. He led the franchise in the absence of Gaikwad, who was out of the tournament due to injury.

Dhoni, who has notched up overall 5439 runs in 242 innings at an average of 38.30 in the IPL and a strike rate of 137.45, with 24 half-centuries at the best score of unbeaten 84 runs, has started his practice to nail the big shots around the park.

In the last season of the competition, Dhoni was struggling to nail the spinners in the middle and death overs, and that will be a part where he hopes to improve with the bat. Moreover, the Super Kings will be without their long-time servant, Ravindra Jadeja, in the side, who has moved to the Rajasthan Royals (RR) along with Sam Curran.

CSK is likely to open the batting with Sanju Samson, who recently played a sensational knock of 97* against the West Indies in Kolkata. He is expected to open with Mhatre, while Gaikwad may come at number three and show his dominance against the spinners.
