In the semifinal game, India couldn’t have asked for a better outing in the middle. England dropped the catch of Sanju Samson at the start and paid the price with the opener smashing 89 runs in just 42 balls with the help of eight boundaries and seven sixes at a strike rate of 211.90.

Ishan Kishan also contributed well for his 39 runs in 18 balls with the help of four boundaries and two sixes, while Shivam Dube cracked 43 runs in 25 balls, thanks to four sixes and one boundary as India made their way to 212/5 in the 18th over of the innings.
