New Zealand Women will face Zimbabwe Women in the third and final T20I of the series on March 1 at Seddon Park in Hamilton. The hosts have already taken a 2-0 lead and will aim to complete a clean sweep, while Zimbabwe will look to end the series with a better performance.

New Zealand women have dominated the series so far. In the first match, they posted 202/1 and later restricted Zimbabwe to 110, winning by 92 runs. In the second game, they again batted first and scored 196/1. Amelia Kerr made 82 off 52 balls, while Isabella Gaze added 85 from 54 deliveries. Although the scoring slowed slightly at the end, it was still a strong total. Zimbabwe struggled in the chase and were bowled out for just 86, with Nensi Patel and Kayley Knight taking two wickets each.

Zimbabwe Women have found it difficult to handle New Zealand’s disciplined bowling attack. They lost early wickets in the second match and never recovered despite a brief effort from Chiedza Dhururu. Going into the final, Zimbabwe will be looking to demonstrate progress with the bat and the ball, and New Zealand will be looking to continue their excellent form.

At Seddon Park, the surface in the first T20I played more to the batters than the bowlers. The surface was good for scoring, and players could play their shots easily against both pace and spin. Bowlers need to keep a tight line and length. Even small mistakes can be expensive because the pitch supports attacking batting.
