While Pakistan are set not to travel to India for the upcoming ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 and ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, another Pakistan team won’t travel to India for another cricket World Cup this year.

India will host Women’s T20 World Cup for Blind 2025

India is ready to host the Women’s T20 World Cup for Blind 2025, which will be the inaugural edition of the tournament. Apart from the hosts India, the other teams for this tournament are Australia, England, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and the United States.

Indian cities New Delhi and Bengaluru will host the Women’s T20 World Cup for Blind 2025, which has been scheduled between November 11 and 25, 2025. However, for Pakistan, the Cricket Association for the Blind in India (CABI) has set a neutral venue.

Originally, Nepal’s capital Kathmandu was selected to host Pakistan’s match in the Women’s T20 World Cup for Blind 2025. However, due to the present unsettled situation in the country, the CABI has changed Pakistan’s neutral venue to Sri Lankan Colombo city. So, apart from New Delhi and Bengaluru, Colombo will also host this inaugural T20 World Cup.

The change of neutral venue for Pakistan has just been finalised after a virtual meeting with the Executive Committee of the World Blind Cricket Council (WBCC) on Monday (September 15). CABI will soon complete its parts with Colombo to organise the upcoming tournament smoothly.

CABI Chairman Mahantesh G. Kivadasannavar is excited about the forthcoming World Cup. He said about hosting the tournament, "This World Cup is more than just a tournament, it is a celebration of courage, skill, and inclusion. Hosting it in India is a matter of pride, and I am confident our girls will rise to the occasion, inspire millions, and make the nation proud."

The Women’s T20 World Cup for Blind 2025 will have 21 league stage matches, following two Semi-finals and one Final.
