Rishabh Pant celebrates Holi

The Indian wicket-keeper batter, Rishabh Pant, who is currently at home, resting, being away from the entertainment of the Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, has posted a video on Instagram where he is seen celebrating Holi, the festival of joy, colour, and positivity, with his friends and family, as the video went viral on the social media platforms.

Rishabh Pant has been seen using the colour smoke cylinder, which has been the new entertainment of the year, as it puts colorful smoke in front of people. He tried the smoke on his uncle and various other people and enjoyed the moment. Before the start of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026, this has been a great way of enjoying ahead of a long event.

Pant, who will lead the Lucknow Super Giants, hasn’t played any competitive game for the Indian side since the end of the second Test of the two-match series against South Africa at the Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati. He, however, was part of a few games in the Vijay Hazare Trophy (VHT) 2025/26 for the Delhi side.

Pant didn’t enjoy a great season of the IPL 2026 for the Super Giants as the southpaw managed only 269 runs in 13 innings at an average of 24.45 and a strike rate of 133.15, with the help of one century and one half-century at the best score of unbeaten 118 runs. It was the very first season post his debut in 2016 when he didn’t cross the 300-run mark in an IPL edition.

Pant’s leadership was also under question for a few games in the previous season. He will be ready and challenged on many aspects, even in this season. But every member of the franchise and the fans hope to see the best of the Delhi batter.

Meanwhile, a great season with the bat can also see the left-handed batter making his return to the eleven. His last T20I for the Indian side came in 2024, which puts a question mark in his T20I career for the national side.
