Harmanpreet Kaur becomes the third Indian captain to lift the World Cup, along with Kapil Dev and MS Dhoni, as India won their very first Women’s World Cup in 2025 against South Africa in Navi Mumbai. Rohit Sharma missed the chance during the 2023 World Cup at home against Australia. However, both of them have a great coincidence in the milestones that will shock everyone.

Both Rohit Sharma and Harmanpreet have won ICC trophies as captains, with the former lifting the T20 World Cup 2024 and the Champions Trophy 2025. Besides featuring for the Mumbai Indians, they made their international debut at the age of 20.
