The IPL 2026 is less than two weeks away from beginning, while every team has started their practice sessions. Mumbai Indians, the joint record five-time champions, recently posted a video on social media, where we could see the former skipper Rohit Sharma enjoying the practice session with Shardul Thakur. 

Mumbai Indians were the first to lift the IPL title five times, which Chennai Super Kings later equalised. In the last five seasons, they failed to win a trophy, while twice they managed to qualify for the Playoffs, and twice they finished in 10th or last place. 

In the last season, Mumbai Indians were eliminated from Qualifier 2. The franchise is desperate to end their five-year trophy drought in the IPL 2026, which is set to begin on March 28.
