Rohit Sharma

India captain Rohit Sharma was a force to reckon with in the 2023 ODI World Cup. While opening the innings for the Indian team, he gave quick starts and showed selflessness at the start of the innings. In the majority of the tournament team India leveraged from his fearless and attacking approach which led fans and pandit's alike regarding Rohit as the most selfless captain.

He eventually went on to lead India to T20 World Cup 2024 and champions trophy 2025 wins. He is now eyeing to win the 2027 ODI World Cup, which is scheduled to be held in South Africa. As it stands out Rohit Sharma has donated his jersey and bat from the 2023 ODI World Cup to Mumbai cricket Association.  The MCA will showcase the ODI jersey and the bat at the museum in Wankede Stadium in Mumbai. It is worth noting that Rohit Sharma has announced his retirement from T20 Internationals and tests.

Rohit is now only active in ODI and he was recently seen prepping up for the Australia series at the gym. He will not be seen playing Asia cup 2025 as the tournament is conducted in the T20 format. Suryakumarr Yadav is poised to lead Indian team in the Asia cup 2025 and Shubman Gill has been announced as the vice captain of the side.
