The Saurashtra Cricket Association (SCA) has announced that their inaugural season of the Saurashtra Pro T20 League 2025 will begin with a grand opening ceremony scheduled for June 7, 2025, filled with entertainment that will see Bollywood superstar Jacqueline Fernandez perform at the famous Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot. The event will be filled with cricketing excitement while fireworks light up the night stage, marking a start to a new era of cricket in the region.

Jacqueline Fernandez will be the first act headlining at the opening ceremony, where she will take the stage with her high-octane dance performance. Jacqueline is known for her striking and glamorous presence on screen and explosive energy when performing on stage. Her participation adds a burst of Bollywood excitement to the cricketing festivities, especially the crowds and excitement she will bring to the region.

Joining Jacqueline Fernandez will also be the talented duo Salim–Sulaiman, who have made their name as one of the world's popular Indian musical duos and are known for their energetic live stage performances with deep, soulful musical compositions. Their performance will blend the sounds of Indian classical and contemporary music and add a beautiful musical flavor to the event.

Five Teams, One Goal: T20 Glory in Saurashtra

This league has five unique franchises representing different zones of the region: Sorath Lions, Zalawad Strikers, Gohilwad Titans, Halar Kings, and Kutch Riders. The tournament will be in a round-robin format, with the top four teams progressing to the semi-finals and super-finals, all being played at the Niranjan Shah Stadium.
