Band-e-Amir Dragons secured a dramatic 3-wicket win over the Boost Defenders in Match 15 of the 2025 Shpageeza Cricket League (SCL) at the Kabul International Cricket Stadium. Once the toss had been made, the Dragons chose to bowl first to take advantage of the surface. Although the Defenders batted well, the Dragons chased the target down in the last over of the game.

The Boost Defenders posted a competitive total of 182/6 in 20 overs. Karim Janat played an innings of 65 off 41 balls to lead the team. Captain Ibrahim Zadran gave him the best support by making 54 off 36 balls. Najibullah Zadran Najibullah Zadran added valuable runs at the end, smashing an unbeaten 37 off just 21 balls to give the innings a strong finish. Among the Dragons' bowlers, Gulbadin Naib was the standout performer, grabbing 4/41 in his 4 overs, while Allah Mohammad Ghazanfar (1/25) and Mohammad Saleem Safi (1/41) provided crucial support.

In reply, the Dragons set a chase in a measured manner and finished with one ball remaining to win at 183/7 in 19.5 overs. Sediqullah Atal was the top scorer with 34 off 22, anchoring the innings in the middle phase. Mohammad Haroon Khan (30 off 23) and Sadiqullah Pacha (28* off 10) played a vital role in maintaining the run rate and winning the game. The Defenders tried to hold their defense through Bashir Ahmad (2/39), Azim Zadran (1/5), and Arab Gul (1/31), but they weren't enough to stop the Dragons' late charge.
