South Africa Champions Thrash England Champions by 10 Wickets

AB de Villiers demonstrated his power and class once again. The South African legend smashed a stunning 100 in just 41 balls against the England Champions in the World Championship of Legends 2025. In the second innings, he opened the innings with his old teammate Hashim Amla, the two chased down the 153-run target with ease in Leicester.

The pair didn’t give England any chance, putting up an unbeaten 153-run stand and winning the match with almost 8 overs left. At 41 years old, this was de Villiers’ first proper match after nearly 4 years, and fans were thrilled to see him back in full flow just like his old RCB days.

 Earlier, England Champions scored 152/6 in their 20 overs. Phil Mustard top-scored with 39, while Wayne Parnell and Imran Tahir picked up two wickets each for South Africa. It was a perfect all-round performance from the South Africa Champions and AB de Villiers stole the show.
