Just two weeks before the start of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026, the left-arm pacer for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), Yash Dayal, has reportedly married the content creator, Shweata Pundir, in a private ceremony, which was held last month, as the pictures have gone viral on social media.

The 28-year-old has picked up 41 wickets in 43 innings of the Indian Premier League (IPL) at an average of 33.90 and a strike rate of 21.2 with an economy rate of 9.57, thanks to the fine bowling figures of 3/20 in an innings.

Dayal faced a serious allegation involving the minor as a young cricketer from Jaipur claimed that the pacer promised to help advance her career and later assaulted her sexually when she was only 17, as the incident took place in 2023, and an FIR was filed at the Sanganer Sadar Police Station.

The Rajasthan Court granted interim protection to the left in the chase as his anticipatory bail application was rejected by the court, handing cases under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, which prompts the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) player to approach the High Court for being released.

His lawyer, Chandrashekhar Sharma, also argued that the FIR was filed nearly two years after the incident and maintained that Dayal had met the complainant in public.
