Just minutes after India’s solid and comfortable victory against Pakistan in the group stage of the Asia Cup 2025 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, India’s captain, Suryakumar Yadav, amidst the handshake controversy, walked into the press conference with a huge smile on his face and revealed that he had no idea of the outside noise.

Once again, they will be up against the Salman Ali Agha-led side in the Super 4 stage at the same ground. The battle, this time around, will be different with Suryakumar Yadav finding himself under the scanner for the off-field questions, apart from the battle between bat and ball.

See, it's easy to say, but sometimes it is difficult because you meet a lot of friends, you go out for dinner, and you have a lot of players also around who like to see all these things. So it's very difficult, but then it's on you, what you want to listen to, what you want to have in your mind.” Suryakumar Yadav revealed in the presser.
