Again being asked to bat first, the Originals finished on 139/6 on a difficult pitch, thanks in part to captain Beth Mooney’s authoritative innings. As the Invincibles moved through their innings, they were well placed in the chase, but the Originals pulled together some tight death bowling to complete a dramatic victory.

She got some assistance from Bryce (24 off 18) and Amelia Kerr (15 off 15). Despite losing wickets at regular intervals, the Originals scraped a total of 139, which ended up being just enough.
