This early-access initiative is part of ICC’s new global partnership with Google, aimed at boosting fan engagement in women’s cricket. Following the pre-sale, general ticket sales will begin on Tuesday, September 9, at 8 PM IST, again via the same official platform. The tournament will begin in Guwahati on September 30th, with a large opening ceremony, including a live performance by Shreya Ghoshal, and the opening match between India and Sri Lanka.

Record prize money announced

In a landmark announcement, the ICC confirmed that the total prize money for the 2025 Women’s ODI World Cup will be a massive USD 13.88 million. This amount is nearly four times higher than the USD 3.5 million prize pool of the previous edition held in New Zealand in 2022.
