London Spirit set the target of 124 all out in 99 balls, led by Charli Knott’s assured innings. In reply, Welsh Fire seemed on track during the chase but they were just short, finishing on 122/5 with some good contributions from the top order.

Charli Knott was the best player on Spirit’s side, who reckoned it with her performance. With the bat, she reached 47 off 33 balls, launched 7 boundaries, and balanced the innings after the early dismissals. Besides, she also got Jess Jonassen out and gave only 16 runs in 10 balls, stopping Welsh Fire at a critical juncture.

The bowlers of London Spirit were deciding the times of their operations correctly and thus they were able to stop Welsh Fire from progressing further.
