During India A’s opening clash of the ACC Men’s Rising Stars 2025 against the United Arab Emirates (UAE) at the West End Park International Cricket Stadium in Doha, Vaibhav Suryavanshi could have got on a first-ball duck had the UAE captain not dropped the slap against the spinner. And he took the chance with both hands.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi completed his fifty in just 17 balls with several boundaries. He just stood on his stance and used his power to slap the big shots outside the park. The UAE side kept changing the field placements with different bowling combinations.

The southpaw, who recorded the Indian Premier League (IPL) century for the Rajasthan Royals (RR) against the Gujarat Titans, went on to celebrate his century in just 32 balls as the India A side pushed their way to 180 runs in 12 overs.

In 12 overs, India A pushed their way to 182/2 as Suryavanshi reached 138 unbeaten runs in just 40 balls with the help of 11 boundaries and 14 over-boundaries at a strike rate of 345.
