Pagariya Strikers (PAS) achieved an exciting 3-wicket victory over Nagpur Titans (NAT) while chasing 123 in the Vidarbha Pro T20 League 2025 game at VCA Stadium in Nagpur on the back of a cool finish from Vishesh Tiwari and a match-winning spell from Lalit Yadav, who shredded the Titans’ top order to take 4 for 11.

Nagpur Titans, placed to bat, had a bumpy start and continued losing wickets at periodic intervals. Their top order fared poorly, with Aniruddha Choudhari (9 off 13) and Akshay Wadkar (3 off 8) not being able to capitalize. But Jagjot Singh Sasan was the top performer with a determined 56 runs off 47 balls, including 3 fours and 2 sixes, to prop up the innings. Shubham Dubey added an unbeaten 28 off 27 to provide the Titans with a late boost.  Pagariya Strikers bowled responsibly, with Lalit Yadav leading the attack magnificently. He took 4 wickets for only 11 runs in his 4-over spell. Pushpak Gujar (1/23) and Ashit Singh (1/23) chipped in too, as Nagpur Titans were left at 122/8 in 20 overs, supported by 15 extras.

Pagariya Strikers then pursued the target in 17.1 overs, though in fits and starts. MD Faiz took charge of the innings with a 30-ball 46, hitting 5 boundaries and 2 sixes. Yash Kadam added 28 off 28, keeping the innings going through the middle.  After a mid-innings slump, amidst wickets falling to Jagjot Singh Sasan (1/23), Aditya Thakare (1/18), and Sahil Sabir Sheikh (2/18), Vishesh Tiwari (19* off 15) and Suraj Rai (0*) guided PAS home. The chase was finalized at 123/7 in 17.1 overs.  With this close 3-wicket victory, Pagariya Strikers showed great character in adversity, while Nagpur Titans will look back at their batting lapses and conceded extras.
