The gallery, which was covered with a thick layer of dust, turned into a cricket carnival on December 24. The Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur witnessed a full house mainly to show support to the former India captain Rohit Sharma, who was in action for his state team, Mumbai, for the opening day of the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025-26 (VHT 2025-26).

Rohit did not miss the chance to pay tribute to his fan base in Jaipur by scoring a blistering century. The opener played a 155 (94)-run knock during the Mumbai vs Sikkim match for a winning cause. Sharma was in full flow, playing big shots with ease. After the match, a video of Sharma caught Indian cricket fans' attention.

Through the video we can see a little fan, who was in jersey number 18, seems to be a Virat Kohli fan and rushed to Sharma to touch his feet. The batter instantly spotted the little fan and stopped from touching the feet. A cute moment for Rohit Sharma and his fans on social media platforms.

With an in-form Rohit Sharma on top of the batting line-up, Mumbai chased down the target with ease. Rohit was named best player of the match for his match-winning 155-run knock. During the 94-ball innings, the right-handed batter smashed 18 boundaries and 9 sixes. Mumbai won the match by 8 wickets.
