England batter Harry Brook might be heavily influenced by Rishabh Pant. Before The Hundred match, Brook was spotted doing a cartwheel on the ground, which led the broadcasters on air to talk about this act and Rishabh Pant, who made his backflip celebration famous recently.

Despite a series of criticisms for his adventures in the batting style, the India international never disappointed cricket fraternities with his charismatic acts. His swashbuckling playing style and unorthodox shots are already famous among cricket fans. To add an extra element, the keeper batter chose to do backflips in the middle as a part of his celebrations after playing a memorable innings. The backflips not only entertained former cricketers like Sunil Gavaskar but also the active ones. Harry Brook is the pure example of that. The white ball skipper of England cricket was warming up near the sideline ahead of The Hundred's game when he did a cartwheel, which looked similar to Pant's backflip.

"It’s a fairly unique one. We don’t see many cricketers doing cartwheels, do we? He always looks quite proud of himself as well when he finishes it," Sky Sports hosts threw the question to former England skipper Eoin Morgan.

'We've seen Rishabh Pant do it...'

Morgan replied, "He’s clearly trying to prove a point there. They might have even had a bet that you can or can’t do it. You know, it’s definitely a new thing. We’ve seen Rishabh Pant do it for his hundred; the celebration needed a full frontal flip. So maybe this is just a progression."

Due to a foot injury, Rishabh Pant missed out on the 5th match of the recently concluded Anderson-Tendulkar trophy, where India pulled out a memorable win to level the series 2-2. Despite injury concerns on more than one occasion, the southpaw played his part well as a batter in England. He returned to India as the fourth-highest run getter for India in the series. With a couple of centuries and 3 half-centuries, the 27-year-old concluded his run with 479 runs with his name.
