Indian bowlers were on fire in the first session of Day 4 as they picked two wickets to exert pressure of English batters. But it was Harry Brook who broke the shackles and tried to drive the momentum towards the England by taking on Akashdeep and Prasidh Krishna’s attack.

Akashdeep was bowling the 34th over of the game and England were 126/3. He smashed a four and a six in the over as the over fetched 11 runs. He then took on Prasidh in the very next over and smashed one maximum and two boundaries and making it a 16-run over. With this, he propelled his score to 35 off just 27 balls and England’s scorecard read 153/3.

The start of the Day was good for the Indians as Prasidh sent half-centurion Ben Duckett back to the pavilion. As and when Ollie Pope was settling and digging his base, Mohammed Siraj plucked him out and caught him LBW. At the end of session one, England 210 more runs with seven wickets in hand.
