The much-awaited showdown between India and England has gotten underway on Friday. The rivalry, which we were so eagerly looking forward to seeing, has finally come to light at Headingly in Leeds. A commanding display with the bat has propelled India to a strong position of 368/3 by the end of day one's play. It turned out to be a day to remember as Jaiswal and Gill stitched match-defining tons and made England toil hard on the field.

Although it may still be early days in the Test, the signs for England are ominous. An arduous road lies ahead of them, and if they do not stem the flow of runs quickly enough, they risk being batted out of the game by India. Amidst India's dominating finish on day one, a recent Star Sports promo featuring the former Indian skipper Rohit Sharma has just gone viral. With a subtle touch of humour, Rohit could be seen issuing a grave warning to the English side, advising them not to take India lightly.

Rohit Sharma: Hamari team waha seekhne nahi, sikhane ja rahi hain🔥

The promo starts off with a character initially lauding Rohit for his success in the previous England tour, where India leveled the series 2-2. He further continues the conversation and asks the Indian skipper what advice he would like to share with the current Indian team prior to the tour. 

Rohit's response was quite catchy as he asked the character to jot down all his advice. His first advice to them was to watch out for the inswinging deliveries and avoid poking your bat at the wide ones. Furthermore, he also stressed the importance of playing aggressive cricket and urged the team to exercise caution whenever needed. 

Unbeknownst to the character at that time, all this advice was not for the Indian team but for the English team. As soon as he looked to happily conclude the conversation by saying the advice would immensely benefit the Indian team, Rohit uttered the word "India" with a confused look on his face. 

He later cleared the air once and for all by confirming that all the advice was meant for England and not for India. These were his last words before the promo came to an end "Hamari team waha seekhne nahi, sikhane ja rahi hain"

Rohit's epic promo has warmed a lot of Indian hearts. The viewers got a glimpse of the funny side as Rohit roasted England in a witty manner. Back to the Headingly Test, India are in total command of the match and would be looking to cash in further on day two and pile up an enormous amount of runs with an aim to keep England on the field for as long as they can.
